The MIDAS white paper in requirements for automatically testable services

The project intends to public guidelines about requirements for automatically testable services and services architecture, related to the deliverable D2.1. In particular, the objective of this white paper is to individuate and provide specific guidelines and criteria, based on methodological frameworks, able to capture capabilities and architectural structures and patterns (functional and nonfunctional requirements) needed to define and design dependable and secure services and services architecture which are automatically testable.

More specifically, the paper will present and exploit the concepts of testable service (contract) and testable services architecture in terms of service functionalities (expressed by pre and post –conditions and invariants) and specific test components (e.g., interceptors, scheduler, …), in the framework of model driven engineering (MDE).
